Hey, thanks a lot for the super nice comment! =>
Really glad you liked it, it was actually my first game jam, so I didn’t have much time to polish everything. I tried to polish some things but didn’t make it in time, like lanterns to make night levels brighter (I forgot to place them on the map LOL), slightly bigger items, and better hitboxes. Sadly, I also had some weird issues with the web build (SFX don’t work at all, even though I had some cool sounds for placing stuff :'>).
I also wasted quite a bit of time making dynamite, breakable walls, and molotovs… which I had to scrap in the end. The tutorial part could’ve been explained better too, and I didn’t manage to properly loop or trim the music before the deadline.
Right now I’m planning to remake the game from scratch — better, more fun, with more content — and release it on Google Play and itch.io 🔥
By the way, I played your game too — really well made! I liked the visuals a lot, even though it lagged a bit in the browser (that’s normal). The theme implementation confused me a little though — it didn’t feel super connected to the jam’s theme. I mean, yeah, there were some flamethrowers, but still kinda meh in that aspect
