Great work! The game looks amazing, and I really like the atmosphere. It gives off vibes similar to the game Overcooked, but more cozy and casual. I really like how you introduced the mechanics in a very light yet informative way.

Maybe it’s just me, but I didn’t really understand how to make the candies correctly. Maybe you can tell me so I can revisit the game. I also felt like the game lacks some suspense. I liked that the ghost spawns every now and then trying to steal your ingredients, but I think the game could use more moments like that. A timer would also add a little bit of oomph and tension to the gameplay.

Another thing I noticed is that you can’t pick up the ingredients after you throw them. If this is intentional, making them disappear might improve the overall game feel and UX. Lastly, I didn’t really see how the theme or the twist was used in the game.

All that being said, you have a very strong base to build upon. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the game. Great work, fellow solo developer!

Thanks for the feedback. the candy recipes are shown on the signs when you unlock tier 2 and 3 buildings, after you make a tier 2 or 3 ingredient it should fill in the signs with that ingredient, the rest is trial and error guessing what the recipe makes.

i know the ingredients can get a bit buggy but you should be able to pick them up if they not placed inside anything. The theme was based around poltergeists and the act of haunting objects as for the trick twist it was: Ghosts can clean up failed candies and help you haunt stuff but sometimes they trick you and steal your ingredients.

Thanks for the feedback!
