Lots of land to explore, lots of funny side quests. Terrific game ...
... the 3 and a half hours I managed to play it. Unfortunately, my old stoneaged computer got a bit too hot for this game, but a game I definitely recommend, and to which I will return when my equipment has been upgraded.
It took me 25 hours to reach the end, and I’m quite impressed by the game (must be plenty of hard work behind it) and its concept. Actually, there is a lot of grinding in this game, but as a player you don’t find it annoying as the grinding comes in form of side quests (I believe I completed about 90 per cent of them). Wish you good luck with the sequel!
Certainly. Is it possible to email each other here on itch.io?
What I particularly liked about this game was the huge map, and the fact that you chose your own fights. In the early stages, to fulfill the quests you had to avoid running into stronger enemies which was fun.
The heroes had several attributes, but some of them I hardly used. Often, it was enough with Sleep, single or Two-Strike attack and Heal to win the fights, which perhaps became too easy after a while.
The search for keys were entertaining, and you got pretty good help from the game where to look. But sometimes I forgot where to find a certain person, so I started writing down my own notes.
If I could wish for something, it would be a greater variety of enemies or that some of those already present were made stronger with different weaknesses. But I can imagine it's hard to find the right balance, if the foes get too strong players will get frustrated and give up.
Unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to message a person directly on Itch. If you want, you can email me at: shadow.emery9@gmail.com.
Yeah, a big map size was one of my biggest goals with this game, along with lots of optional side quests.
Yeah, I definitely got way too carried away with the amount of keys I made in this game. That's another thing I'm going to fix in the sequel.
