Nice concept and cool art.  I did run in to some issues where for example i attacked a skeleton and could not move anymore but all by all very nice. And since you offered a gamepad control i used that.

some small QOL things

1) Maybe make the first land/platform where you start and or all lands available in both channels. I fell trough the first land because i was testing out keys. You could for example make the last platform before a land channel dependent and make the land pieces save havens

2) Make the first cutscene skippable, its not super long but after seeing it once i would like to continue trying the game

3) I used the controller but when i died i had use the mouse to restart

But a solid game for the jam

Good suggestion regarding the safe zones - it would've been good to have some areas that co-exist in both channels. It could've been a good way to adapt the optional checkpoint 'treat' from the jam too.
