sorry I didn't better prepare you for the monsters you can use the inventory slots with 1 2 or 3 to pick up or use items. There are two food items the granola bar and apple. For the monsters there is garlic for the vampire, a toad for the hag torch for the ghost and som slightly diffent tacts for remaining items but one is just a novelty.
