The sudden deer outside was the scariest jumpscare in the entire game! (Half joking) I loved the atmosphere you built up with the camcorder and the overall investigation feel. I actually did read every document I found, and I tried to get as immersed as possible into the world and story that was unfolding in front of me. I was always worried that at some sudden turn, something would be there to scare me. Now, since the story is mostly cohesive, I do have a complaint that involves the ending of the game. I know that's a spoiler, so if you're reading this and you haven't played the game, just do it. It's a great enough game to the point where I'm now approaching this not as a jam title, but as a full-fledged story. Alright, spoiler talk.

Okay, I feel as though the ending left me wanting a lot more, and additionally, I feel as if you could've done more to emphasize the horror aspect of that final scene. In the lead-up to the final movement, there's a crate/hiding thing that literally has the description "it would be big enough to hide in". I feel as though there was a perfect setup to have a final chase segment where you need to suddenly backtrack through the cave while the tunnel man chases after you. Instead, I feel like the ending is very sudden and doesn't exactly reward me for getting invested in the story/world. It felt like "oh, you interacted with the DEATH BLOOD PUDDLE", game over, here's a text blurb about how you died, and the case went cold. Understandably, since the game was made in only a week, it's very likely that some content had to be cut out. But this is one of the few game jam entries that definitely left me with an off feeling at the end, only because I got so immersed that the end left me feeling a bit hollow. Clearly, this is a sign of how you guys did something very well, and I look forward to any games you make after this. But I felt I needed to let this be known since this game jam entry really resonated with me. Great job, and great game!
