You can program in whtever you want. Nobody can tell whats is right or wrong.   I prefer visual scripting too because i found it helps to make funtioning code faster (and i'm tired of programing like it's 1979 :-P). I tried to use orchestrator like a month ago, but some things weren't implemented yet. I tried to made a simple FPS char but things like mouse look weren't implemented. IDK how things are now (at least for 3D). Other plugins for Godot i know are Godot Block.
