Not a fan of the control scheme as old lessons have built up a modern scheme, but I think I get why you put it in, although it definitely could use some tweaking. I will say, it sort of felt like a more free Grimrock style of movement.

Looking lower constantly made getting used to it more difficult, as the screen didn't fully follow the mouse, so it was a headache trying to click on really low things.

Enemies were also introduced WAY before I got used to the controls, which meant the pain point of the time to restart hit me each time. But that could be more an issue with how long it takes to restart than the enemies' timing.

I do like the Blue Prince style though! Never played it myself, but seen some stuff on it, and it's neat to see a jam version of it!
