I got kinda confused about the game, and it kinda ended abruptly after the well scene, but the atmosphere surely got me! Guess the SE and the ominous place really added to the game overall, hope you keep on adding content onto it!

The ending was designed to be pretty abrupt, as the game doesn't really have a "death," but rather the game just closes instead. The game also would have closed if you "died" while waiting for the water to come back from the well, but if you survived to get the water, then the death at the end was scripted. Thanks for the feedback also! This is my first game, and was worried it wouldn't be any good. But I'm glad to know that at least the atmosphere was good!
