The ending was designed to be pretty abrupt, as the game doesn't really have a "death," but rather the game just closes instead. The game also would have closed if you "died" while waiting for the water to come back from the well, but if you survived to get the water, then the death at the end was scripted. Thanks for the feedback also! This is my first game, and was worried it wouldn't be any good. But I'm glad to know that at least the atmosphere was good!
