Hello!
I'll add your game to my list to play.

Here is my game. I hope you enjoy it!

Hey! Your game looks super cool! Why did windows defender flag a trojan?

Hello! That’s a strange issue that’s been happening, though not on every installation of Windows Defender as far as I know. It’s a false positive that can be a bit tricky to get rid of. You’ll probably see it in other games from this jam as well.

You can read more about it here:

Essentially, it’s a weird Unity false positive issue.

I think this game looks super cool and it looks like you put a lot of effort into it, but I feel uncomfortable downloading it and I hope you understand. I sincerely apologize. Good luck with the jam though!

No problem! I also have a question: are you using Windows 10 or 11? This issue has been very inconsistent, and I just wanted to note that. I tested downloading it on my laptop, which does have Windows Defender (my main PC does not), and it worked fine. So, I'm wondering if the issue is only with the Windows 10 version of Windows Defender, or if it also occurs on the Windows 11 version.

I'm using windows 11!

Thank you!

Okay! I decided to submit it to Microsoft to get rid of the false positive. If that works out and Windows Defender no longer occasionally flags it, I will let you know.

I look forward to playing your game then!

Hey! I know it's on hold, but it seems like they lifted the detection off of my game, if you wanted to check. You might have to clear your cache or update your Window Defender.

Amazing game! Good job!
