(PC User) I have v0.18.0, to get v0.19.1 would it be better to uninstall then download the newer one, or is there a patch I should add?

There is a patch, look above on this page under the Download -heading.
To get from v0.18.0 to the latest, you must first patch to v0.18.2 and then patch to v0.19.1.
If you skip the v0.18.2, the garden.rpa file is wrong version.
There is a FAQ paget in the Wiki, it has info on save files when updating.
