The percussion (ride cymbal especially) is on point! Is that part of the inspiration for the name of the track? I’m not sure I can put my finger exactly on what it is that makes me feel this, but I get imagery of a desert casino specifically. I think it’s either the bass drone that maybe has a little bit of a sitar or didgeridoo quality to it, or the harmony that vamps back and forth between the major I and the bVII chords which I’ve heard in oasis themes before.
Constructive feedback: In thinking about the structure of your song, it has a really nice build with the slow addition of more energetic parts over time. With such high energy toward the end, I think it worth adding on a conclusion that matches the quality of what immediately precedes it. The ending as it stands it quite abrupt and I am left wishing that it ended maybe with playing a final chord with the slot arpeggios continuing to echo in a fade out or something more conclusive.
Overall, this track is very pleasant to listen to and grooves really nicely. It has a great dynamic arc and has a great structure as a whole. Great work and thank you for sharing!
