I really enjoyed this game, but sadly I'm having some trouble playing the new version. I have a mac and I downloaded the game and was able to go to security and privacy settings and tell my computer to open it even though its from an unidentified developer. However, the application still won't open after that. Is anyone else having this problem? I am a bit confused because it worked fine when I downloaded an earlier version about a year ago.

Hmmm, that's very odd! A cursory search shows that it doesn't appear to be an issue with new versions of ren'py, so I'll check with the other players in my playtester discord to see if they've run into the same issue.
Sorry to ask something basic, but have you done the usual: redownload, restart the computer and try opening again? Either way, thank you for reporting that you were having this problem!
