I have a question. Did you fix this by making it so that when the character you use hits the weakness of the enemy, the enemy the enemy cant get a turn if they use a hit that characters weakness with their own spell because this is what happens. ALSO do you plan on making more plugins? considering how often you still update this plugin i wouldnt mind supporting you although most of the plugins dont seem like what i need for my game(except this one and the display weakness plugin).  I plan on getting the display weakness plugin soon cus it seems useful

TLDR

-Bat is weak to Lightning

-MC is weak to ice.

MC hits Bat weakness > gets a turn 

afterwards

Bat hits MC weakness> doesnt get turn

Please check if the enemy can earn another turn, as well as the plugin's parameters.

the enemy can earn another turn that's the thing. The enemy is hitting me with an ice attack, and what happens is if i hit them with an attack beforehand that hits their weakness, they can't get a turn even though they hit my weakness.

do you have an old version of the plugin i could redownload? i think ill just remove counter attacks in my game for now lol

Wait, I read your message and watched your video, but I didn't quite get what you meant. What exactly is the issue?  Nothing in the video is incorrect. I see that if you hit the enemy with their elemental weakness, they can earn a turn if possible. But not if it's a counterattack or magical reflection.

there is not counter attack stuff going on here this is just vanilla spell casting. the enemy can earn a turn, but not in this specific situation because i hit them with an attack that hits their weakness first they for some reason cant get another turn when they hit my weakness

Now, I don't know why the last version didn't include the code for the counterattacks, but I've re-added it. Please download the latest version and try it out to see if it resolves your issues. Also, this version doesn't seem to have the bug you reported.
