Hi ForsakenVoid!!! Just now, I just played your prototype, and it could definently use some workarounds and improvements. Now, don't get me wrong, I love the sheer fact that you attempted at creating a tiny metroidvania for a jam submission, and a hand-drawn one at that! Plus, I love on how you didn't go for your typical and standard "Jump on the platforms to get across." approach, and added in a slight touch of humor to make the game enjoyable.
But that's where the key word "enjoyable", is important in pretty much every game on the planet. And for a prototype, this is pretty darn impressive for what you put out. However, I would recommend to definently tweak the controls, ESPECIALLY the wall jump, as it feels janky, and it really doesn't feel satisfying having to successfully climb up walls with your wall jump.
But aside from the controls, that's all I have to really say about Not Done Yet. A standard, tiny metroidvania submission from the hands of ForsakenVoid (aka ashwinkoli02) himself. Great job, ForsakenVoid!!!!
Also, if you have the time, I just recently put out Part 6 for my devlogs for Juicy the Orange! You can check it out if you want. Thanks a bunch if you do!, and I would like to ask, how's your metroidvania coming along. I hope it's turning out great!!! 🎮👾🕹️
