this is significantly better than most ice-maze puzzlescript ideas, I like how every interaction naturally has dynamic consequences that permanently affect the rest of the solve. it's especially relevant that the removal of the colliding object allows more options after each step, a dilemma most ice-maze puzzles struggle with. it's reasonably possible to make a superpuzzle with 20 unique branching paths after 4 pushes with this ruleset (although, you would never want to make such a puzzle, the increased freedom makes each option feel more reasonable). in general, the design focuses on providing options for the player rather than restricting the player's options, and does not distort the path of the object, altogether making the player's perception of their options more intuitive.

separately, I think I'm starting to understand the clever realizations, and finishing flow of NinaBirb puzzle designs.
