Okay, perfect, I’ll check when I can the autosave system from that specific part of the game to see what’s happening

Also, when you finish an important phase or you’re going to take a break or something try to save in one of the slots your current phase to make sure you don’t lose your progress.

You can do that (while being in-game) pressing one time ESC (this will sent you to the main menu) or closing the game while fighting and open it again

So I went to use the save system upon reaching Phase 4 and it didn't overwrite the save I made for Phase 5. So I used one of the other 2 slots and it says the phase saved in the file is phase 0. same thing happened when I tried to do it for Phase 5 in the third slot

Hi Jimbob! Well that’s VERY strange, the slot save system it’s fine, so the error might be on the autosave system.

The slot save system saves your current phase, but if the game currently it’s picking the wrong phase it’s normal that the slot save system it’s wrong…

Whoever today I’m going to see what’s happen I’ll tell you more tomorrow 👍

Yeah. In the gallery it lists me as on a phase higher than 6

Hi Jimbob! The phases are unlocked in the gallery in real time! When you advance on the game the gallery does the same.

By the phase higher than 6… What phase do you mean? The last phase or the last one you could unlock before the save system failed (phase 5) ?

In the top left of the gallery where it says 'current phase' it has mine listed as 9

Hi Jimbob! Yes, that’s the internal number that uses the game to refer to the phases, so, for example, the phase 9 equals the phase 5 (if I’m remember right), or for example, the phase 1 equals 0, it can be confusing…

But, perhaps I can change the number reference or the way the numbers are shown to not confuse the player.

So, that’s not a bug don’t worry 👍👍

If that's the case then it should be something else because I managed to move on to Phase 6(through closing the game whenever I died before the full death animation could play so I didn't lose all my progress)
