I'd say "temporarily discontinued" instead of cancelled. Outright cancelling a project in an indie space feels wrong to me unless you genuinely dont have any passion left that game. You dont have a deadline so why not just take a break from it and come back to it when your ready. There's a ton of people really into CoM so canceling it all together just doesnt seem like the right move. Honestly, you do you, but there are tons of indie devs out there who get a really bad rap for not finishing games before moving to their next projects because they werent making enough money. It's understandable, but if the income is what drives your passion you will inevitably drive yourself into a corner in the indie space. I hope that's not the case and it really is all about mental but I dont see a reason to completely cancel the project then, but what do I know?
