hey creator!! i wanted to randomly ask if you do this(if you want to ofc) for Our Life: Now and Forever AND Our Life: Beginnings and Always and when it comes to making us/the protag, i did some random choices because as a trans man (and who identifies also as transmasculine), i wanted to question if whether that be before the story starts or maybe at step one or step two, for gender, we could choose that's besides nb, male, or female, to have a trans man and trans woman (and also intersex option too) bc i feel that through either game, i want my character to discover who they are (and maybe there's an extra screen for if yr trans, there's another page/section(for customising yr protag) for name and pronouns that are used by family and same thing for friends or if not, that also can apply with everyone or certain ppl if possible as a suggestion) or if not, maybe there's certain choices in the story where the character/us realize(at some points in the Steps) that we don't see ourselves as our original gender and slowly feel that we align to the opposite! but anywho, that's just a suggestion or two from a trans person who loves yr games so keep up the good work!! ^^

Throughout the demo, there's some improvement in there, cuz you can have custom pronounce and such during your Character customization every new step, and there's also a part where you talk to Qiu on step 2 prologue (not about gender but if you also feel the same way as him;Confused, and sometimes lost) overall, I think whatever you want to find will be added since the "gender" option or finding who you are throughout the story will be added since when I played OL1 we kinda have a conversation with cove like that.
Hello! We really appreciate your detailed suggestion. We are trying our best to let people express themselves and who they want their MC to be in the world of Our Life. However, we are limited in some ways with what we can do, simply due to the scope of alterations we can handle. One of those areas is transitioning during Steps. Because the Moments can take place in whatever order the player chooses, having their MC come to important realizations about their own identity during a Moment is beyond what we can reasonably include. It would require so many alterations within almost every Moment, as well as potential reactions to those changes in other Moments. That's too many alterations for us as a small team, and so the MC's identity journey is mostly contained to between Steps. We do include scenes where the MC gets a chance to express themselves, and assert their identity, but as for actually changing and self-growth, those things simply are too complex to happen during gameplay itself. We appreciate your understanding, and hope you can still have a fulfilling story in Golden Grove! Thank you so much for being here.
