I wish I could. I enjoy horror a lot, but I can't just make myself not react to something startling, even with completely non-horror themes. Personally I find that horror is defined by every other aspect. The biggest mark from horror was made on me in a game that has no jumpscares at all.
But this is a porn game above all. I don't see the harm or difficulty in having an option to cut the most brief part of the game out. The gameplay, theme and art is a heap of fun. Lustful Nights was very playable for me - except for the bombs startling me half to death. I'd give a lot to handle startles but exposure just makes it worse with time. It sucks being walled off from all the horror out there because of that.
Edit: and more accessibility allows for more audiences to buy the game. It's profitable.
