Alot of peeps use emulators on pc to play and run android apps. As for the game not working on older phones that makes sense, android did away with 32bit support so older games wont work on newer phones and also inversely they don't really support 64 bit on newer applications being developed which means newer programs and apps pry wont work on older phones moving forward.
