A fun play! I really liked each criature's snippets in the guidebook, and the concept was really cool. I do wish replayability was a bit easier, adding a skip function would be nice especially since it took me a few tries to get all the characters' species right (On top of that, I felt that the music that plays during the deducting scene is a bit loud and distracted me a little). Also, my first playthrough was fine but during my second one, it took very long to have the characters spawn when moving between rooms, so I often had to waste turns just waiting for someone to appear in a room.
Also, it would also make sense thematically imo to develop the mechanic for building relationships a bit more, so that it has more consequences on the gameplay. There could be ending variants depending on the gifts you made and who you talked to, for example. Right now the game does compel you to suspect at least one character to avoid death, and I feel like the protagonist should maybe react accordingly if he's bonded with them during the story. But I understand that the scope of the game was probably already getting extensive so kudos to the team for making it. The visuals look great and the characters are charming! I liked Sera quite a bit although I felt that the main character was a bit too mean spirited to her in the beginning.
It would be really cool to see this fleshed out. Keep up the good work!
