I havent even finished the second chapter but I just have to express how much fun it is to see some representation of greek culture that isnt just ancient greece. It made me legit giddy to see aman used in a sentence (although that one is turkish in origin we have borrowed it). I will probably edit this comment to add more later on but so far I am having the time of my life.
You will find there is a lot of overlap between Turkish expressions and words and the modern Greek language same with like food and even music. But honestly I love seeing the Turkish representation too our neighbours are so cool and tbh I've rarely seen their culture represented in much either. In general the mix you've chosen is very interesting and blends quite well, I really love the world building and descriptions of the environment just as much as the characters ^^
