same on me , I got a
"Failed to load resources!"
"Some resources failed to load. Make sure the game and any DLC assets are updated to the latest version"

(v2.0.1 & just bought the DLC
(already tried deleted everything and redownload

aaaaaand...... it can't import save file after I redownload the game(QAQ) , and didnt ask for any permission

(on Galaxy Tab S9 , both of us are samsung devices , this might help

I get the feeling it might be failing to copy the file, but this is very hard for me to diagnose.

Under the storage info for Kemopop!, how large is data? It should be ~378MB with the DLC correctly installed.

For reference, I have no problem installing on a Samsung S23 with the default OS.

the data is 1.11mb , looks like it's not even installed
btw , I tried putting the smd on 3 different folders : "download" , "documents" , and a new created folder
choosing the first and the second will be "could not open the file. make sure kemopop! has full disk access permissions(it didnt even ask for permission)"
and the third one will be the same situation like Jtgrayfire

the dlc install tool didn't work,have no idea.
