Honestly, I was completely captivated by the opening cinematic—the storyline, the character development... I mean, who wouldn't love a grim reaper with a childlike innocence?
However, I feel that the art style in the main gameplay is completely different from the opening and comes across as considerably rougher, almost as if they were made by two separate people. Additionally, I found it too easy to access areas that should be out of bounds, like walking on supermarket walls or atop vending machines. Another issue worth noting is the lack of background music during gameplay.

Hi ! thank you for taking the time to play :D

I love how you touched on the artstyles and how contrasting they are. In fact, that is the whole point! Ideally, the cutscenes were intended to be drawn in such a style as to reflect the POV of the child and the swap to the Pixel art is just a means to switch to reality is all ^^  I can understand the whiplash that can cause though, but it was indeed intended!

Thanks for reporting those bugs :D we actually patched those out for the post-jam update (another available zip) and added our music and sounds there too, as initially it broke our builds so we had to remove them for the submission sadly :c
