Hey, thanks for checking out my game! As I’m sure many others have said, the art is really pretty, whether it’s the sprites or the CGs.

The use of permanent cut-ins for the backgrounds is, imo, a very clever way to evoke the scenery without making the difference in styles too obvious. Mixed with the low transparency image behind the cut-in and the white text box, it gives off a very clear and light aesthetic that works pretty well for me (and I’m a dark mode user 😆)

I like that the text box has some graphics on the left side, it doesn’t make it feel empty when you’re not showing a side image. If I update Woof You to the Moon (or if I do another game with side images), I will most likely steal this trick.

There were a few typos (which I should have noted down, oops) but far from an unbearable amount.

Story-wise, to be honest one of the early scenes (sunflowers I think) felt a bit drawn-out to me, but when the twist dropped it made me appreciate it more in retrospect.

Spoilers Because when I saw that first flashback I immediately figured out Wizard's identity, so I was like "come on Nova it's not that complicated", "Come on Nova this is obvious".

I DIDN’T EXPECT THE GUY TO BE DEAD

That recontextualized a lot of things 😭

It was a bit sad yet uplifting, and I like that in a way, you could say that the story is looping, since it’s a dream that Nova is about to write all down. But it’s also, at the same time, setting him up for success in the future. Don’t know if I’m making sense but I hope so 💀

tldr I’ve enjoyed the game, you draw a lot of beautiful CGs

edit: typos, because this is what I get for typing this at 1 AM

Thank you for playing!

Take it. It's actually quite common trick for textbox with side sprite (as far as I know). About the sunflower scene, I only got the idea while drawing the CG (yes, I started from CG first and I'm a no plan person), but making a new one will take a lot of time. As for the ending with the title drop, it is a pure coincidence. I, once again, didn't plan for it and only realized after I finished writing (I even use past-tense style, but it is also coincidence).

Glad you enjoy the game and CGs!
