For a first jam entry, this really isn’t bad at all, great work getting something fully playable out there! The main thing holding it back is that a lot of the content feels like it’s still using default Unreal or marketplace assets, which makes it harder to rate higher compared to other more customized entries. But don’t worry; we’ve all been there on our first jams!
A few notes we noticed while playing:
Particle Effects: The visual particles cover up the white text, making it a bit hard to read.
Default Icons & UI: The default Unreal icon stands out a bit; swapping that out would help polish the first impression.
Options Menu: If certain features aren’t ready yet, it’s better to leave them out entirely, that way players don’t assume it’s broken. Still, we appreciated that you included those details in the description!
File Size: The build was quite large (over 1GB). You can shrink it down by going to Project Settings → Packaging and setting it to only build the levels you need. That’ll stop Unreal from including example maps or showcase content from asset packs.

Console Access: We were able to open the Unreal console in your build; make sure to always package in Shipping mode for release. That hides all debug commands and keeps players from breaking things or finding test assets!

Overall, for your first jam, you did a solid job getting everything running, and we mean that! A lot of us had rougher first projects, so don’t be discouraged. The most important part is finishing, and you did that.
Keep it up!! We’re excited to see what you make next!
