What a really sad and beautiful game, it’s genuinely heart-wrenching at points, with such a sweet story and touching minigames! We especially loved the phone conversations, since they feel so realistic and natural, which made the story hit even harder.
Only a couple small notes:
he minigame was fun, though the assets felt a little mismatched stylistically. If it’s meant to resemble a Game Boy game, it might look even better in black-and-white (or that classic green tint), just a small nitpick though!
We also noticed that during the minigame, some UI elements would flash after dying, almost like the game was still playing in the background. It’s minor but worth flagging in case it affects other segments. (sorry hard to show in screenshot but imagine the connected part of the phone flashing)
Overall though, this was a really lovely and heartfelt experience, powerful, emotional, and beautifully written. Amazing work!
