Hey man, I just wanted to say that I am excited for the new version but at the same time my first reaction to the new cover was somewhat negative. On the one hand I like the font for the title it feels far more fresh than the original. But I also don't know how I feel about the art used by it and the blue waves over it.

I love the experimentation, I just don't know if it landed well but I am just one voice. Sill I am excited to flip through the PDF!!!

Edit: I love how Assets were separated into different categories and I especially love the Self-Haunting blight. Yes have vampires haunted by their own ghosts! That's too funny and I love that idea so much!

Edit 2: I want to add that I'd like some tools to create factions for fae, witches and werewolves? Depending on the truths chosen for your current elegy. I love the addition of the fae btw!

Hello, Logan!

About the cover: It's very different than the others, but I let myself experiment with it since it's a beta manual, not the actual rulebook. Being completely honest with you, I don't like the style of the old books looking back, of everything. I think it's bland, cheesy and unoriginal. I want Elegy to have a vibe that's more of its own, and that's why I'm experimenting with different colors and references, as well as a different "flavor" of text (and currently writing actual flavor text). The actual visual style of the rulebook as a whole will likely look kinda like this but not exactly like this. It's all experimentation.

About factions for different creatures, it's nice to know someone would like that. I actually had that idea but it happened at a point when the current manual was almost ready and I just wanted to get it done lol

I really like llustrations at the beginning of the chapters:) And the design of the book overall feels like a an improvement, it looks confident and measured at the same time! It's interesting how you added some FATE elements into the game. The only thing I kinda miss is example elegies the game used to have — they were pretty inspiring!

Those will definitely be in the rulebook!
