I can't talk to Mel, only gives me easedrop and enter, but when I choose enter it doesn't prompt me or anything I just sit in the hallway or comment about the drill guy inside the room.
Sorry for the late reply. Which version of the game did this happen in? It would be helpful for me to see your save file.
