The plot points and concept for the Looney Lou Show pulled from how these shows talk to kids and what they talked about: empathy, kindness, etc. But we twisted it for horror as you keep channel surfing. The kid's show kept getting darker and darker until the monster inside Looney Lou literally tore out of her skin in a rage.
