Themes of the human psyche, human nature, and the nature of cruelty.
Flickering lights and visual effects resembling static and interference.
Sudden noises, distorted voices, heavy static, and various unsettling or jarring sound signals.
Constant unease, with possible phobias triggered by claustrophobia, arachnophobia, trypophobia, and others.
Sudden, unexpected, loud — but rare — jump scares. They may occur at the most unpredictable moments, even outside the usual horror tropes.
