What a fun horror game! I really liked the mechanics; the rhythm of climbing the ladder, hiding, and moving around kind of reminds me of FNAF in a way, where once you get into the rhythm, it gets super intense! The story was great, the visuals were fantastic, and I loved the monster’s design; not the scariest to me personally, but super creative and fun. I genuinely love this silly creature.
The only thing I wasn’t the biggest fan of was the climbing controls. The left/right clicking worked fine, but switching sides could be a bit frustrating , it got me killed a few times when it wouldn’t switch properly. Having a separate button or even a middle mouse click for that would help a lot.
Overall though, this was amazing! Easily one of the first jam games I’d give a full 5/5 for visuals. The art style, story, and atmosphere all slap. With a few tweaks to the climbing, I’d absolutely pay a few bucks if this ever became a full Steam release. Such a fun and creative horror game! <3
