Wow, what a fun game! I really enjoyed the mix of Papa’s cooking-style gameplay and, well… being a cannibal, lol. The sneaking segment between runs was especially cool, I just wish there was a bit more of that!
After the second run, when you bring the body back and get caught (I assume she gets diced after, since there can’t be any witnesses >:D ), I was hoping that part would turn into another minigame, like timing your drive home or avoiding cops. The setup was so good!
I also really liked how the boss’s mindset starts breaking down , the way the visuals and music distort as things get darker is awesome. I could totally see this as a full game, where you manage both your cooking business and your sanity. Maybe later levels could show the boss getting more unhinged or eerily calm, while the employees start acting nervous around him. That would be such a cool evolution of the story!
My only real gripe was the burger-flipping minigame, as it’s way too sensitive. It’d feel better if it were based more on timing than precision. Also, I ran into a small bug where even with a perfect burger, if I exited too quickly, I had to redo it. A little frustrating, but not a dealbreaker.
Overall, this is a really solid and creative concept. I found myself wanting more of it, which is a great sign! The combination of food management, creepy atmosphere, and tense minigames is gold. Amazing work!
