Interesting, very interesting! I think the death mechanic matches the theme pretty well. I'm satisfied that falling off the edge doesn't give you a game over. And I like the distortion of the sound effects to give it a good separation of areas along with the change of color scheme.  Overall good job!

Thanks. I tried my best with the time and manpower I had.

Nice game man i left a great review for you and i hope this games concept turns into something revolutionary! and what engine is this game made in? i made my game using godot

Developer

Thanks. I used GameMaker 2, I'd recommend sticking with Godot tho, it's open source and you don't have to deal with licenses.

genuinely really liked the concept behind this game! I feel like it could have been executed with a bit more intentionality, there didn't really seem like there was much of a need to take advantage of the main mechanic. I did like the aesthetics and sounds of the alt world.

Thanks for playing, and for the sentiment. This was my first platformer, and I was rushing a bit, so my level design (and possibly other aspects) may be a bit questionable. I'll make sure to check out your game too.
