I think everything was great except the gameplay. The art, music, theme, and creativity. However, the gameplay can get quickly boring, with how easy it is to abuse the AI at certain points and also how limiting it is to strategize. However, the mechanic on choosing a random effect vs an effect you know is absolutely genius. 

Also I hate and like the fact that the enemy bullets are random. It feels great when you dodge one, but also feels hard to even understand when to dodge. I wish the enemies made a little animation before they shoot so I can react better.

For a game jam made in 5 days, you both worked hard and im proud of what you made. I hope you guys improve and make cool stuff later, because I see a lot of potential

tysm for ur feedback, it means a lot! this was our first game jam working together. This feedback is really detailed and useful, thanks again. If we had more time we would definitely incorporate more enemy variation and strengthen the level design so there's more ways to tackle the waves.

thank you for taking the time to write such detailed feedback!

 to give some insight about the enemies -  the bullets aren't actually random - they generally project your velocity and then add some margin of error! it's definitely something i want to revisit and especially add more "juice" to fighting them (aim effects, death effects)
