Okay so with the information you've given me. Let's say you are a Vampire and you are trying to persuade a target to follow you home so you can feed. Your vampires will have to test their control to see if they are able to persuade the target.


I think of a number (48) and add the calendar (in your case 5), which results in (53). 5 + 3 = 8. If you look at the Oracle in order for me to pass a stat with 3 in it I need to 'roll' a 1-6 to succeed. Since I rolled an 8 I failed. I would create a scene on failure, maybe I was noticed, maybe the target screamed and hit me before running giving me a point of Harm. 


This is essentially how it would play out. I'm going to tweak and adjust it a bit more to make it even easier and streamlined. I have no qualms managing the system but it seems it may have a bit too many steps.
