Making vst orchestral instruments sound realistic is pretty hard, but if this could help you in Fl studio you can automate parameters directly inside of a pattern's piano roll by clicking "edit events in piano roll" instead of making an automation clip. In my opinion is so much easier to draw automation that way especially when constantly moving around dynamics and expression faders is so important for making vst instruments sound real. You can also link the parameter to a midi mod wheel and record the automation yourself in real time, then edit it later. Hope this helps!
