Yeah, that makes sense. IIRC the way I'm accounting for multiple monitors is constraining the usable area to the sum of the width of all monitors and the height of the smallest monitor. Are your displays side by side or is one above the other?
Side by side, a laptop on my left and a main monitor next to that.
