Omg, I just tried dojo of death and it's amazing! I've must have played it before because my dash animation is almost identical. The dash mechanic was actually inspired by watching this Deynum Studio dev vlog. What's also funny is that I wanted to add a projectile enemy, like in dojo of death, but shooting starfish of course. I'll link dojo of death on my game's page so more people can check it out.
