Monster Codex: The Goblin
Goblins are small, mischievous beings who love nothing more than tricking others. They are known to stalk potential victims in order to prank them. Despite their antics, goblins seem to avoid actually harming their victims unless provoked. Some goblins have even been sighted tending to victims injuries in the event a prank goes wrong.
Goblins also have a love for shiny objects, much like dragons do. In fact, some male dragons will form a symbiotic relationship with goblins, where the dragon gets sparkly objects for its nest, and the goblin gets protection from predation. Like the dragon, the goblin has little understanding of value, meaning a gold coin is just as valuable as a discarded spoon in their eyes.
