I really liked the visuals of the game, and the neon sort of look. Gameplay-wise, I wasn't able to move the red blocks more than once, and I had to fail the level before reseting. The movement of the bad memories was also unintuitive as far as distance, and, to some extent, direction. The idea is great and has a lot of potential for a fun puzzle game.
I wasn't able to discern the 2 different genres.
Great job for your first jam. To improve the game, I'd probably make it grid based so that the movement was more consistent.
