
it's a basic no-frills event (literally just put him there to make sure the overpass plugin visibly goes over events). once the pc moves into its vicinity, it throws the error.
i turned off all other plugins except DMS, HAS, and HKG, and the issue persists;

i haven't done much of anything with the HAS settings either;
idk if i have to change how i label the player character's spritesheets? they're 8dir, six frames each. i did notice that the error occurs when player character approaches event at a diagonal angle
