Very nice! Game plays nice and the 16 bit like sprites are very good.
I only can complain about the ui. The menus are a little confusing. I'm a graphist I can make you a mockup of a menu navigation that would be better if you want. Also you need a bigger logo for the splash screen.
I run it on a CRT, so its native resolution seems to be 514x290? I suppose it's 512x288 but you add 2px for some reason. Not a problem for me, but it's something to keep in mind
Also is it possible a 4:3 mode?
