That's an old bug that happened in older builds. Sadly, the current builds for Just Friends on the public are still build on Godot 3, on Patreon we're already using Godot 4.5
It's a very annoying bug but it was completelly fixed in the private builds. But if you want to wait a bit, the next Public Build to be released in December may fix this.
It's been quite a long time since I dealt with this, and sadly I don't have the backup of the project in this current build to fix it, sorry about that.
But do remember this: If you load the wrong save, you may have different affinity points. Sorry about the issue though. I'm pretty sure this issue was fixed in the next build. But if you enjoy Just Friends enough, consider supporting me on Patreon, Tier2 patrons have access to the latest build which is 0.76.
