Great advice, I'll add another one that I always forget:

If your game is playable in browser, then make sure to set up the window settings beforehand, otherwise it can looks really weird when played by players. 

ALSO, if there is any bugs or weirdness you wasn't able to deal with, make a note of them in the bio of your game. Players can forgive a lot more than you think, so as long as you make them aware of some issues, you'll be fine
