Oh my god, this was such a cute game! I started with this one because I had a feeling it'd be a wholesome little thing. What I loved about it was that even though there was no dialogue, you still told a story nearly perfectly just with pictures and the little sticky-notes. And I thought the artwork fit the type of game it was perfectly. You did a really good job! The only thing I had trouble with was the mouse UI; sometimes the character would go right in front of the object and it wouldn't be selected, so I ended up going to just keyboard in the end. But other than that little hiccup, this was an incredibly good start and I'm very glad this was my first game.

ahh thank you for ur kind words and giving it a go! I hadn’t done a side view like this in a while and always have so much fun figuring out the layers and the look of it haha. I’m glad the story made sense too, phew lol. I was aiming to do something light hearted for a change and glad I did!

I went back and forth on the “hit box” placement. I was so worried that it’d be confusing if her ghostly tail was her hit box I shifted the size all the events so it had to match up with her head cuz I knew I was doing something that’s so unlike rpg maker that not everyone would know rpg maker “rules” for how things interact. Tbh I always forget to playtest with just the mouse! This is a good reminder to do that in the future 🥳🫶
