I once did a linux build of one of the earlier versions as an experiment. It worked on one distro, did not really work on another one. Honestly, I have too little knowledge and experiece on Linux to properly test / troubleshoot the game. Therefore, for now, sadly, I have no plans for linux build.
I do not want to exlude this possibility entirely - maybe it will happen someday, but at this point it is pretty hard to say anything of substance (and I do not want to promise anything that I won't be able to deliver). If I ever start working on a linux build, I will surely post about it in the devlog.
