I was very impressed by the art direction in this game.

You really did a good job with the presentation of the different layers of hell, especially how this one was influenced by the hell from the Divine Comedy.

The only thing that left me a bit confused was the ending.

I guess that the MC could do anything for the person he loved, even at the cost of the suffering of others, but he was also so delusional that he could defy death.

Unfortunately for the MC, death always comes at a certain point in life.

This is one of the interpretations I came up with, though, because, as I said, I had some difficulty understanding the final scene.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun designing this one. It was cool to go through the divine comedy wiki page and pick out what I did and didn’t like. This one and my game Round and Round fall into the category of most unfinished endings. I agree it doesn’t make much sense. My thinking was the devil was luring them down to trade places with the MC and to play into this idea of sometimes love can turn into something more toxic as you give of yourself too much. I had this image of the devil creature going UP to the surface through a tunnel but didn’t make it happen in time.

Thanks again for giving it a go! I love reading ur comments sm!
